Job Summary/Description:

This is a one-year, non-renewable full-time instructor role within the Natalie Zan Ryan Department of English and Modern Languages, designed for the academic year.

Typical Duties/Job Duties:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the equivalent of 10 sections of introductory or developmental college writing throughout the academic year.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Applicants should possess experience in delivering college-level writing instruction both in traditional classroom settings and online. Experience with developmental and dual credit courses is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in English along with experience in teaching college-level writing is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience in college-level writing instruction is highly desirable. The department has a robust developmental writing program and dual credit offerings, thus experience in engaging diverse student populations is advantageous.
