About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Citrix Systems Administrator to join our team at Diligent Tec, Inc. as a Senior Citrix Professional. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and supporting Citrix environments, including system upgrades, issue resolution, and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design, install, monitor, and provide support for advanced functions of Citrix Systems and associated ecosystem and related applications.
  • Upgrade and Maintenance: Upgrade Citrix storefront, Delivery controller, Storefront, and VDA's to newer versions, and maintain infrastructure to ensure 24x7x365 uptime service.
  • Technical Support: Take responsibility for technical issues in the environment and provide problem resolution, working closely with vendor support for all servers, software, and other hardware.
  • Compliance and Security: Assist in defining, maintaining, and monitoring compliance to Citrix related security and software policies for the business.
  • Automation and Provisioning: Assist in the design and build out of an automated environment to allow Citrix Server builds to be provisioned in bulk.
  • System Administration: Proactively maintain all Citrix infrastructure components, and maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.
  • Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor system performance and capacity planning, and fault find, analyze, and log information for reporting of performance exceptions.
  • Deployment and Management: Manage, coordinate, and implement Citrix environment deployments, upgrades, patches on servers, and create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes, and provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in Citrix Systems Administration, with a strong background in Windows and VMware administration.
  • Skills: XenApp & Xendesktop 7.6 LTSR/7.15 LTSR experience, Citrix Profile Management 5.0, Citrix PVS 7.6, NetScaler VPX/MPX version, VMware vSphere & Citrix Xenserver 7.0, and strong understanding of Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022.
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure.
