Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients courteously and efficiently.
- Exhibit a friendly demeanor with a focus on outstanding customer service.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes to facilitate smooth patient flow.
- Maintain clear communication with patients regarding wait times and next steps in their care.
- Conduct insurance verification and accurately enter data into the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Address patient inquiries and resolve issues, seeking assistance in urgent situations when necessary.
- Complete patient check-in/out tasks as required.
- Accurately gather and document patient information.
- Ensure examination rooms are well-maintained and stocked as needed.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols, maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Uphold integrity and honesty in all professional interactions.
- Handle financial transactions, including deposits and change collection.
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel, with knowledge of HIPAA regulations, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, and copiers.
- Willingness to travel to various clinic locations as necessary.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Work Schedule:
This PRN position offers a flexible schedule that accommodates other employment and personal commitments. A minimum of two shifts per month is required. Our clinics operate Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays from 8 AM to 6 PM, and Sundays from 1 PM to 5 PM.
