Role Summary:
The Payroll and Accounting Specialist plays a crucial role in managing payroll processes across multiple states, handling expense reimbursements, and supporting accounts payable functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-State Payroll Management: You will oversee the semi-monthly payroll for multiple states using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. Key tasks include:
- Maintaining precise payroll records and deductions for both salaried and hourly employees.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations regarding timekeeping and tax obligations.
- Reconciling payroll reports with source documents and addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Reviewing payroll tax returns and managing related notices efficiently.
- Providing assistance to employees regarding payroll inquiries and changes.
- Maintaining regular communication with employees, HR personnel, and management.

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in multi-state payroll processing, with a preference for ADP experience.
