Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct all tasks in alignment with company policies and industry standards.
  • Uphold safety protocols established by Atlantic Aviation and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Perform maintenance services on customer aircraft or components as directed.
  • Engage with clients, suppliers, and colleagues in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Report work progress and any significant issues to the Lead Technician or designated management personnel.
  • Exhibit the principles of the 'Atlantic Attitude' consistently.

Essential Duties Include:
  • Foster a safe, productive, and enjoyable work environment.
  • Ensure timely and efficient handling of all aircraft maintenance requests.
  • Obtain necessary labor approvals, including overtime and warranty authorizations, prior to commencing work.
  • Maintain accurate labor entries within the operational and billing systems, coordinating with payroll.
  • Submit all required documentation to maintenance administrators promptly for invoicing.
  • Carry out maintenance, preventive maintenance, and modifications on customer equipment as needed.
  • Immediately notify supervisors of any unairworthy conditions discovered during assigned tasks.
  • Interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics as required.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, including taxi and run-up procedures.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with the Repair Station Manual.
  • Conduct repairs on portable powered equipment, power carts, generators, tugs, and other ground support machinery as necessary.
  • Maintain the appearance and operational functionality of all facilities and ground service equipment used in aircraft maintenance or other tasks assigned by the company, adhering to safety standards, OSHA regulations, and corporate identity.
  • Comply with quality assurance protocols, ensuring accuracy in documentation and auditing of maintenance activities.
  • Fulfill any additional responsibilities specific to the assigned location as directed by management.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule, including overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in the aviation industry.
  • Experience with medium to heavy business jets.
  • Factory maintenance training relevant to the capabilities of the base location, including but not limited to Cessna Citation, Beechcraft, Hawker, Falcon, Gulfstream, and Global.
