Qualifications and Experience Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Licensed Social Worker and previous social services experience in a long-term care environment. As a Social Services Designee, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a good working rapport with other direct caregivers, reporting grievances and complaints, and serving as a resident's advocate at all times.
Your Mission
As a Social Worker, your mission will be to improve the quality of services and activities, increase opportunities and choices for residents, and work with the activity department to involve family members and guests in activities whenever possible. You will also be responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all resident/family information and performing general social services duties.
