Nutrition Therapist

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to collaborate with our healthcare team to provide medical nutrition therapy for all ages.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Avoid malnutrition and promote optimal nutrition through evidence-based practice.
2. Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized plans to meet their requirements.
3. Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
4. Teach nutrition classes, workshops, and educational sessions to patients, families, and staff.
5. Maintain accurate records and documents, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
6. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field (with internship completed by 12/31/2023).
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Washington State Certified Dietitian (CD) certification required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification and Washington State Food Handlers Permit.
• Proficient in Windows navigation and Microsoft Office Suite.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in acute care and/or outpatient medical nutrition therapy.
• Masters degree.
• Advanced/Board Certification.
• Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or ASPEN registration.
• Electronic Medical Records experience.
