Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardio Vascular team at McLaren Greater Lansing. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education and support to patients and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care, manage patient flow, and optimize outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and engage in ongoing education and professional development.
- Provide emotional support, empathy, and compassion to patients and families, promoting a positive and respectful care environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices, applying evidence-based knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
- Within 30 days of hire, required American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification as Healthcare Provider.
- Preferred: One year of professional nursing experience, ACLS certification, and Oncology Nursing Certification.
