Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our farm operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our farm sites, including supervising staff, managing resources, and maintaining high standards of animal welfare and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective farm management strategies to achieve production targets and improve efficiency
  • Supervise and train farm staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of animal health, production, and financial data
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of farm operations
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience and training
  • Proven experience in farm management or a related field, with a strong understanding of swine production and animal welfare
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
