PANTHERx Specialty LLC, the nation's largest rare disease pharmacy, is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Medication Preparation Specialist, you will play a vital role in preparing medications for patient consumption under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.

Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists with the preparation of sterile compounded medications for various routes of administration (IV/IM/SC).
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment by following aseptic technique principles.
- Stay informed about relevant compounding procedures and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with staff about sufficient inventory quantities regarding medication delivery.
To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience in sterile compounding pharmacy or hospital settings. A strong understanding of aseptic technique principles is essential. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, along with 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer an estimated salary of $45,000-$60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, health savings and flexible spending accounts, 401K with employer matching, employer-paid life insurance, and short/long term disability coverage. Hybrid, remote, and flexible on-site work schedules are available, based on the position.
Work Environment and Physical DemandsThis position operates in a well-lit, mail order distribution pharmacy environment. You must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 20 pounds, and utilize the computer and bar code scanner.
