Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team of medical professionals at Albany Medical Center. In this role, you will provide top-notch care to patients with cardiac conditions, working closely with hospitalists and other healthcare specialists.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care, with a focus on progress toward discharge.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
