Spherion is currently in search of a proficient Electronics Assembly Technician to become a valuable member of our workforce.
In this position, you will be integral to the production process, ensuring the accuracy and dependability of electronic components utilized in aerospace settings.
The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of experience in soldering and/or brazing within a comparable field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute soldering and brazing tasks on electronic components in accordance with industry standards and specifications.
- Examine solder joints for quality assurance and uniformity, making necessary modifications as needed.
- Interpret engineering schematics, diagrams, and work instructions effectively.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and timelines.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills:
- Possession of a current or expired J-STD 001 soldering certification.
- Familiarity with IPC-A 610 standards for the acceptability of electronic assemblies.
Education:
No formal degree required.
Experience:
0-1 years
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of soldering and/or brazing experience, ideally in the aerospace or a related sector.
- Skilled in using soldering tools, solder wire, flux, and other relevant equipment.
- Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Capacity to stand for an entire 8-hour shift.
