About the Role

This is a part-time position that requires excellent attendance and a high level of customer service. As a Parking Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for directing customers in and around the parking lots during events, handling cash and credit transactions, and providing a positive experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Direct Customers: Welcome and direct customers entering the parking lots, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Communicate Parking Information: Clearly communicate parking information to the public, including directions and parking options.
  • Sell Parking Tickets: Sell parking tickets to customers, handling cash and credit transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring a positive experience and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work in a Variety of Locations: Work in different parking locations and positions, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Document Cars and Balance Cash Drawer: Document all cars going through the booth and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Monitor Lot and Provide Support: Monitor the parking lot during events, immediately contacting a supervisor if any issues arise, and provide support to internal and external clients as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred for this role.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential for this position.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required for this role, including the ability to use a company radio to communicate with colleagues.
