Job Summary

RTX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager and Special Project Lead to support executive activity within the RVS Space Products Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify and prioritize key improvements for strategic objectives
  • Lead identified improvements from beginning to end state, fully implemented
  • Identify key metrics to measure and improve overall business performance
  • Through collaboration with leaders, identify core issues across the business and advise solutions
  • Assess and evaluate risk factors when making critical business decisions and advise leadership team
  • Lead meetings with strong planning and time management
  • Identify areas of improvement across the organization and make recommendations to leadership team
  • Lead assigned programs as needed and collaborate across all functions to ensure successful management of those programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a supportive role such as Project Management or Executive Program Support
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team projects
  • Expert level experience working with Microsoft Office Suites (excel, power point, etc)
  • Leadership skills and experience in a matrix organizational environment
  • Experience supporting leadership teams with items like strategy initiatives

  • Analysis and problem-solving skills utilized to make recommendations to improvements to leadership teams

  • Strong prioritization and time management skills while handling multiple projects with significant complexity
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, can develop clear, concise and logically written business communications as well as deliver recommendations effectively to key stakeholders and demanding audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with exceptional attention to detail and final implementation
  • Excellent personal leadership, organizational, relationship-building and negotiation skills
