Registered Nurse RN Neuro ICU

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Neuro ICU team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a Registered Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prioritize age and specialty appropriate care of each patient assigned by communicating relevant information to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Competently and accurately complete age appropriate comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessment of patients; takes nursing history assessment to identify nursing diagnosis/patient care needs.
- Evaluate the patient/family response to, and outcome(s) of, implemented care and modifies the plan of care accordingly.
- Implement and direct care, using the nursing process with emphasis on the needs of individual CV Neuro ICU patients.
- Promote, initiate or coordinate interdisciplinary care provision in an open communication system with patients, nursing personnel, physicians, clergy, and with all other persons who influence patient progress.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
- 1 year of RN ICU experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- BLS & ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
