Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily personal hygiene, ensuring their physical comfort and nutritional needs are met while maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Engage in effective communication with clients, their families, and caregivers to address needs and outline services provided.
- Employ proper techniques for positioning and body mechanics to promote client safety and comfort.
- Understand and apply principles related to skin integrity maintenance and infection control measures.
- Uphold client rights, ensuring confidentiality and respect in all interactions.
- Deliver services with professionalism, compassion, and ethical consideration at all times.
- Support the execution of procedures that enhance the physical well-being and comfort of clients.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations as they arise.
Collaborate with office schedulers and the Open Arms Home Care coordinator to develop a comprehensive plan for client services and home visit schedules.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation for billing and payroll purposes, maintaining legibility and clarity.
Work independently, effectively prioritizing visit schedules with minimal supervision, while being available for weekend shifts and varying hours as required.
Demonstrate reliability by consistently reporting to assignments punctually and communicating promptly with office staff regarding any delays or absences.
Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional demeanor at all times, contributing to both internal and external customer satisfaction.
Adhere to all policies regarding Infection Control and Universal Precautions, and perform additional duties as assigned.
