Job Summary:

Open Arms Home Care is seeking a skilled Home Health Aide to provide high-quality care and assistance to clients in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to promote independence and dignity.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Work collaboratively with the Open Arms Home Care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Document client progress and provide regular updates to the care team.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move with ease.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
