Radiology Team Leader

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Radiology Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our diagnostic imaging department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and experience in supervising a team of technologists. This role will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of patient care and services, as well as promoting a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department, including monitoring patient flow and ensuring timely and quality clinical information.
- Supervise a team of technologists, including preparing schedules, completing performance appraisals, and providing education and feedback.
- Participate in quality initiatives to meet quality goals and Joint Commission readiness targets.
- Monitor supplies and expiration dates to prevent waste and monitor staffing schedule according to patient volumes.
- Actively participate in all required system and departmental meetings.
Requirements
- Five years of technical experience in radiology.
- One year of experience in supervision/leadership.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in pediatric imaging.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with groups or teams and employees at all levels within an organization.
- Excellent customer service skills.
