HealthPRO Heritage is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their communication goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to determine and diagnose communicative deficits and equipment needs.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment programs based on the initial evaluation and containing achievable functional goals.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain timely and accurate departmental records, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with nursing staff, residents, and families to maximize resident use of functional abilities and provide instruction on therapeutic procedures.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with community resources and participate in ongoing continuing education opportunities to maintain clinical currency.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Certification: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) credential offered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Licensure: Valid state Speech Language Pathology licensure.
