Key Responsibilities: In this vital position, you will be tasked with the preparation and dispensing of various pharmaceuticals to meet the needs of both outpatient and inpatient facilities. You will work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to prevent medication errors and misuse.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a comprehensive range of clinical services, including pharmacokinetic dosing and therapeutic interchange.
- Executing IV/PO conversions and managing total parenteral nutrition (TPN) in accordance with pharmacy protocols.
- Conducting pharmacist interventions to enhance patient outcomes.
Work Schedule: Varied 8-hour shifts based on departmental requirements, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation: Salary range of $80.94-$94.81 per hour.
Qualifications: We are looking for a committed clinical professional who possesses:
- A Pharm D. degree and a valid California Pharmacy license.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, organizational, and follow-through abilities.
- Expertise in performing age-specific and disease-specific pharmacokinetic calculations.
- Capability to compound intravenous admixtures and other sterile preparations.
- ASHP-accredited residency is preferred.
