Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Adelphi Nursing & Rehab Center. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' medical conditions, functional capabilities, and potential for rehabilitation under the direction of a Physician.
  • Administer treatment programs with specific goals determined according to patients' capacities and tolerance.
  • Document and record patients' conditions, and educate patients and families in physical therapy methods.
  • Collaborate with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.
Requirements:
  • Valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
  • Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
