Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Adelphi Nursing & Rehab Center. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' medical conditions, functional capabilities, and limitations to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer treatment programs under the direction of a physician, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Document patient progress and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Valid professional license and registration for the state of practice.
  • Experience in long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
