Seasonal Part-Time Bartender Opportunity

About the Role

Troon International is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bartender to join our team at Westchester Hills Golf Club. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and their guests, ensuring a memorable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock and maintain inventory of beverages, supplies, and equipment
• Mix and serve a variety of cocktails, beers, and wines to guests
• Assist in cost control, inventory management, and maintaining accurate records
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and standard operating procedures
• Communicate guest requests and concerns to management
• Perform opening and closing duties, including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions, utilizing Point of Sales System
• Review banquet schedule, calendar of events, and special events to ensure seamless service
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars, and occasionally serve meals to guests
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One year of bartending experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol
• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
• Alcohol Awareness Training
