About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to lead the development of our Android applications for baggage handling systems at airports. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience for our clients while optimizing operational performance and minimizing baggage mishandling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our baggage handling apps, aligning with overall business objectives and client needs.
  • User Research & Requirements: Conduct user research, gather feedback from baggage handlers and airport staff, and translate their needs into actionable product requirements and user stories.
  • Feature Prioritization & Development: Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with the product roadmap. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure seamless implementation, considering the unique requirements of Zebra devices.
  • Product Launch & Iteration: Define release plans, manage product launches, and continuously iterate on the product based on user feedback, performance data, and industry best practices.
  • Metrics & Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user engagement, operational efficiency, baggage handling performance, and customer satisfaction. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and drive product growth.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders (engineering, design, operations, etc.) and external partners (airlines, airports, etc.) to ensure alignment and smooth product development.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies related to baggage handling, mobile app development, and Zebra device capabilities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Manager for Android apps, specifically with experience on Zebra mobile devices.
  • Demonstrated success in leading the development and launch of mobile products in complex technical environments.
  • In-depth understanding of the user experience (UX) design principles and best practices for mobile applications, particularly for enterprise applications.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and data visualization for operational insights.
  • Strong understanding of baggage handling processes and workflows in airports.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for technology and a desire to contribute to a seamless travel experience.

  • Experience with the aviation industry or baggage handling systems.
  • Experience with API integration and data synchronization.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanning and other RFID technologies.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
