About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Architect to join our team at EXP. As a Senior Project Architect, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating the technical development of projects, working closely with Project Managers and Principals to ensure the successful delivery of projects from conceptual design through to construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the technical development of projects, ensuring that designs meet applicable building code requirements and are executed within the project budget.
  • Coordinate with a multi-discipline team of architects and engineers, both in-house staff and outside subconsultants, to ensure that projects are detailed and executed to maintain the design concept.
  • Develop presentation documents and participate in presentations to clients, showcasing your expertise and design skills.
  • Develop design concepts under the leadership of the Principal Designer, ensuring that they meet the client's needs and expectations.
  • Participate in design phase activities, providing expertise in detail development and ensuring that designs meet applicable building codes.
  • Develop construction drawings and specifications for all project phases, ensuring that they are accurate and complete.
  • Assist with all corresponding bid and construction phase activities, both in the office and in the field.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited University.
  • Architectural license required.
  • LEED AP a plus.
  • Detailed knowledge of architectural and engineering practice, with emphasis on design, design development, preparation of construction documents, preparation of specifications, building materials, construction costs, and building codes.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD & Revit.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role.
