Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess patients with wounds to develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Develop and implement wound care protocols to promote optimal healing and prevent complications.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to adjust care plans as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on wound care and management.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Current licensure in California as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least one year of nursing experience, with a focus on wound care.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Wound care experience and certifications (e.g., CWCN) are highly valued.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Current professional RN license issued and/or recognized by the state Board of Nursing for the State of employment.
