Job Title: Kindergarten Teacher

Job Summary:

Scottsdale Academy is seeking a qualified Kindergarten Teacher to join our team. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic growth of our young students.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
  • Guide students in developing their academic, artistic, and practical skills through a carefully constructed curriculum.
  • Employ a variety of educational techniques to engage students and promote learning.
  • Build a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social competencies and confidence.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to student growth.
  • Understand and adhere to school emergency procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment that meets health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience working with young children.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills.
  • Patient, friendly, and reliable demeanor.
  • DCF 45 hours (preferred).
  • Credentialed with a Child Development Associate (CDA), or Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood field of study (preferred).
  • Level II Background Screening will be conducted through Floridas Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Special training in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
