Chief Marketing Officer for Smart Home Solutions

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Demand Generation Manager to join our team at SmartAC.com, a well-funded tech start-up in the Smart Home IoT space headquartered in Houston, TX.

The successful candidate will possess strategic and analytical marketing acumen along with a proven track record of owning digital strategy (SEO, paid, website), managing marketing budgets and KPIs, and growing product adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistent pipeline contribution to support monthly targets and drive funnel conversion
  • Set & meet targets of the business
  • Own the process for development and execution of SmartAC.com's strategy for acquiring, nurturing, and expanding qualified leads
  • Continuously identify, evaluate and test new channels, strategies and tactics
  • Experiment with a wide array of ever-changing digital and traditional mediums and develop methods to understand and improve effectiveness
  • Manage and guide website strategy to increase inbound lead volume and drive conversions
  • Create highly customized marketing campaigns and content for target accounts
  • Work cross-functionally with sales to align demand generation strategies
  • Own and manage systems used for marketing campaigns and measurement including Pardot, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, etc.
  • Work closely with Sales teams to improve conversion rates and lead handling processes
  • Educate Sales teams on lead sources and campaigns to ensure outreach messaging alignment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in demand generation, SaaS experience preferred
  • Analytical – You must be comfortable tracking, analyzing, and interpreting relevant content metrics. You focus on connecting marketing efforts to revenue, and not just vanity metrics.
  • Disciplined Execution – You never overlook the details, and work backward from an objective to set and accomplish appropriate results. You hold yourself accountable to established KPIs.
  • Technical Experience – Expertise in web analytics software, content management systems, etc
  • Excellent Communicator – You have the ability to articulate narratives to both executive leadership and outside teams.

Estimated Salary:$110,000 - $140,000 per year, based on location and experience
