Dental Hygiene Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team at Howard Family Dental. As a key member of our oral health care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Responsibilities- Diagnostic Support: Collaborate with dentists to provide necessary information through x-rays, verbal communication, and other dental tests to assist with diagnosing dental treatment.
- Periodontal Care: Perform comfortable periodontal evaluations, general scaling, scaling, and root planning for all patients.
- Clinical Documentation: Complete all clinical notes according to practice guidelines before dismissing patients.
- Education: Dental Hygiene Certificate/Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Licensure: Active dental hygiene license issued by the state board.
- Advanced Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
- Certifications: Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification, General Supervision Privileges, CPR Certification, Hepatitis B Vaccination, Intraoral Camera, Caries Detection, Velescope, Open Dental Software, Digital Radiograph Technology.
