Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble components into finished products
  • Pack finished products for shipment and label for shipment
  • Keep accurate records of jobs performed
  • Enter product information into computerized inventory system
  • Transport stock to and from work area
  • Mark job loads with order number
  • Inspect produced parts for quality and quantity
  • Requisition supplies as needed
  • Work from verbal or written instructions
  • May be required to pack units for shipment
  • Plan jobs to be most efficient
  • Participate in standard job rotations
  • Perform all duties according to safety policies and procedures
  • Perform all 5S housekeeping tasks in appropriate areas

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical experience: Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Industry experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, principles, and tools preferred
