Job Overview

KIPP North Carolina Public Schools is a network of tuition-free, college-preparatory public charter schools educating students in grades K-12. As an Education Specialist - Elementary Reading Intervention, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Job Responsibilities
  • Instructional Expertise: You will lead the implementation of research-based reading interventions for elementary students, ensuring seamless integration with our adopted curriculum.
  • Teacher Support: Collaborate with teachers to provide coaching, guidance, and resources to enhance their instructional practices and student outcomes.
  • Data-Driven Instruction: Analyze assessment data to inform instruction, drive progress monitoring, and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Culture Development: Foster a positive school culture by embodying our core values, building strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
Qualifications

  • A valid North Carolina teaching license or willingness to pursue state certification
  • A Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
  • Experience in teaching reading intervention or a related field
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $ $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
