The University of New Mexico is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Field Technician. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for collecting insect specimens and data in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect insect specimens using hand collecting and insect traps
- Conduct visual counts of flower visitors along transects
- Collect and record data using Excel and other data management tools
- Participate in hiking and camping activities as required
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Prior experience collecting field data and knowledge of insects
- Preferred Qualifications: General knowledge of Excel, data management, and other relevant skills
