We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Imaging Technologist FSED PRN to join our team at Reston Hospital Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them to capture optimal images
- Accurately interpret physician's scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed
- Assist radiologists in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing patient care
- Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and X-rays, and maintain room cleanliness and inventory of supplies
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- One year of experience in CT and X-ray imaging
- ARRT-CT Registered (preferred)
- Basic Life Support Certification
