Position Overview:
As a vital member of the HonorVet Technologies team, the Customer Support Specialist I is responsible for managing and executing loss assignments in accordance with client directives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate emergency communications with contractors through three-way calls involving homeowners.
  • Achieve and uphold proficiency in all client and departmental guidelines and updates.
  • Meet required performance metrics in line with center standards.
  • Ensure quality benchmarks are met, documenting assignments accurately.
  • Identify and investigate assignment discrepancies as necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal colleagues and external clients.
  • Handle emergency and catastrophic event assignments as they arise.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all software applications and programs utilized in departmental tasks.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction assessments.
  • Engage in special projects or take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in customer service and administrative tasks.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with home improvement or reconstruction projects is beneficial.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proper grammar and a consistently professional tone.
Technical Proficiencies:
  • Competence in a multi-tasking computer environment and familiarity with MS Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships.
  • Commitment to a strong work ethic, including willingness to work overtime during critical events.
Educational Requirements:
A high school diploma is mandatory. Some college education is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
