We are seeking a highly skilled Power Modeling Engineer to join our Digital Design Engineering group at Apple. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the SOC power modeling and optimization for our next-generation products.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with architects to determine the most critical use-cases for power simulation and provide power projections for future projects.
- Develop and maintain accurate power models for new architecture designs, ensuring optimal performance, power, and area tradeoffs.
- Work closely with design teams to identify and implement power reduction opportunities, enhancing the overall efficiency of our products.
- Contribute to the development of IP power models, providing critical power data for performance/power/area tradeoffs.
- Interface with cross-functional teams, including architecture, RTL, and physical design teams, to drive power efficiency improvements.
- Electrical Engineering background with a strong understanding of ASIC power analysis and optimization.
- Proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog, with experience in Python scripting.
- Familiarity with computer architecture, logic, and circuits design, as well as signal processing.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface with cross-functional groups.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience, with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
