About the Job

Are you a skilled Respiratory Therapist looking to take on a leadership role?

We are seeking a Lead Respiratory Therapist to join our Flight Team.

As a Lead Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assisting the Supervisor with the day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Care Department.

You will also be responsible for performing standard and advanced respiratory care procedures for patients suffering from various cardiopulmonary disorders.

Additionally, you will be responsible for performing other examinations and procedures as directed, such as pulmonary function lab, neonatal intensive care, and HBO.

You will model appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

**Education:**

* Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care (Required)
* Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care
* Technical Degree or Diploma in Respiratory Care

**Work Experience:**

* ICU, NICU, or CVU environment
* RRT
* Training and experience in a specialty area such as Hyperbaric medicine, Pulmonary Functions, etc.

**Certifications:**

* BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association
* Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification - American Heart Association
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association
* Registered Respiratory Therapist - Arkansas - Arkansas State Medical Board
* Registered Respiratory Therapist - Mississippi - Mississippi State Department of Health
* Registered Respiratory Therapist - Tennessee - Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care
* Registered Respiratory Therapist - National - National Board for Respiratory Care
