Your Role
Position Overview:
The RN Case Manager plays a crucial role in guiding patient care throughout the healthcare continuum. This position focuses on effective resource management to help patients achieve their health goals while ensuring optimal access to care and resource utilization. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting utilization management to support medical necessity and prevent denials.
- Facilitating transition management to ensure appropriate length of stay and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Coordinating care to ensure efficient throughput and appropriate levels of care.
- Adhering to state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Providing education to healthcare providers, patients, and their families.
Qualifications for Success

Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license with a minimum of two years of acute care experience; BSN preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in case management.

- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, along with computer proficiency.
- Familiarity with university and medical center policies and procedures.
