Job Title: Environmental Services Director

The Moments, a 92-suite memory care community in Lakeville, MN, is seeking a dynamic Environmental Services Director to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our property.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain all major utility, life safety, and security systems, including HVAC, energy management, and plumbing.
  • Manage preventative maintenance services and contracts, ensuring compliance with facility guidelines.
  • Oversee purchasing activities for maintenance and housekeeping supplies, staying within budgetary guidelines.
  • Secure bids for capital improvements, adhering to facility guidelines.
Supervision:
  • Hire, train, and discipline maintenance and housekeeping staff.
  • Schedule staff and manage daily workload to ensure timely completion of work orders and apartment turnovers.
Apartment Turnovers:
  • Communicate effectively with team members to discuss needs and priorities.
  • Perform and/or coordinate painting, cleaning, carpeting, and apartment updates.
  • Keep the Executive Director informed of apartment turnover statistics and needs.
Emergency Response:
  • Provide 24/7 emergency on-call response, rotating with staff.
  • Ability to support other on-call staff as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Three to five years of multi-housing maintenance experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot appliances, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues.
  • Special Class C Boiler Operator's License or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Current Driver's License (in good standing).
  • IT and technology experience with systems, HVAC, door access, and camera access.
