Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Shipping/Receiving Associate for our Day Shift operations. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient handling of materials within our warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations with moderate supervision.
- Maintain a strong focus on detail and accuracy in all activities.
- Utilize SAP for inventory management and data entry tasks.
- Understand warehouse layout for effective material location.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring they match purchase orders in terms of accuracy and quantity.
- Unload trucks and handle materials with care, reporting any discrepancies or damages to the lead.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper tagging and labeling.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed to transport materials.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse setting is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for 75% of the workday and sit for 25% of the time.
- Capability to lift at least 5 pounds consistently.
- Willingness to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.

Additional Information:
- This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity with pay based on experience.
