Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical assistance to local governments regarding community planning.
  • Coordinate initiatives aimed at enhancing community resilience against environmental challenges.
  • Assist in long-term recovery strategies post-disasters and guide communities in proactive planning.
  • Evaluate comprehensive plans and amendments, ensuring alignment with state growth management laws.
  • Prepare detailed reports analyzing planning issues and recommending solutions.
  • Engage in interagency meetings and represent the Department in public forums.
  • Monitor and support Community Planning Technical Assistance Grant projects.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
