Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Mammography Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting diagnostic mammographic procedures with precision and care, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
  • Ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure, providing clear instructions and addressing any inquiries.
  • Maintaining and operating mammography equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with quality control standards.
  • Assisting Radiologists in analyzing mammograms and preparing diagnostic reports.
  • Keeping accurate patient records and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Staying updated with the latest advancements in mammography techniques and technology.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mammography Technician.
  • Certification in Mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Proficiency in mammography procedures and equipment operation.
  • Exceptional patient care skills, with a commitment to providing a compassionate and supportive environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
