Senior Circuit Board Designer

Acro Service Corp is seeking a highly skilled Senior Circuit Board Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating complex printed circuit board designs for aircraft-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RF/chip & wire PCBs, rigid-flex PCBs, and advanced electrical designs
  • Collaborate with engineers to gather documentation and requirements for critical system components
  • Generate custom printed circuit board design files and drawings
  • Work with program team leads and managers to review and revise designs
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of designs prior to system integration and test

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant CAD experience
  • Current experience with Mentor Graphics Expedition, DxDesigner, and AutoCad
  • Experience with high-speed, multi-layer, digital, analog, RF, flex, controlled impedance, differential, and mixed signal designs
  • Demonstrated ability to design MCMs and work with advanced RF dielectrics and substrate technologies

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SolidWorks, Mentor DxDataBook, and CES (Constraint Editor System)
  • IPC CID or CID+ certification
  • Experience working with electronics fabrication and assembly facilities
  • Experience with space-grade components

Education:

  • BS or trade school plus 10 years of minimum experience
  • Interim clearance sufficient to start
