Nutritionist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutritionist II to join our team at Warren County, NC. As a key member of our public health team, you will be responsible for providing clinical nutrition services and program coordination to clients with diverse nutritional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop care plans for clients with chronic or short-term medical conditions.
• Provide in-depth individual counseling on therapeutic diets, nutrition principles, and health education.
• Develop and implement nutrition programs, including planning, managing, and evaluating services.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community members, and other stakeholders to promote healthy nutrition practices.
• Stay up-to-date with current scientific information on nutrition, diet, and health to provide evidence-based services.

Requirements:

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetics Registration or Master's degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition, or Nutrition.
• Two years of nutrition experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Ability to interpret policy and protocols into operational procedures and work priorities.
