We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to provide top-level expertise in support of the Department of Justice.
The ideal candidate will design, maintain, and implement GOTS software, develop original applications, and work with various programming languages and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, maintain, and implement GOTS software based on specific requirements
Develop original software applications from high-level concepts
Create software tools that integrate with third-party tools and utilities
Develop and maintain large and complex software systems
Implement web-based query and reporting systems
Produce specifications and design documentation
Create project work estimates and implement solutions
Utilize COTS software to the maximum extent practicable
Work with ISS and security standards for SBU and classified data
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Software Development or Computer Science
2+ years of software development experience in a production environment
Active Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI w CI Poly preferred)
Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including C#, Python, PowerShell, and ASP.NET
Experience with SQL, XML, WSDL, and Angular
Knowledge of Microservices Architecture
Familiarity with FISMA standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, particularly in C#
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
Proficiency in cloud technologies, especially Azure
Expertise in SQL, threading, and async/sync calls
Experience with containers and Docker
Strong skills in XML/JSON parsing and UI development
Proficiency in web application development
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
Ability to work in a Windows environment
