Job Title: Data Engineer

RICEFW Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, building out new API integrations, and collaborating with analytics and business teams to improve data models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and API integrations to support increasing data volume and complexity.
  • Design efficient data structures and database schemas, and work with distributed system architecture and non-relational databases.
  • Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models and increase data accessibility.
  • Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality and ensure accurate and available data for key stakeholders.
  • Perform data analysis to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in resolving data issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with BI reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • 3+ years of experience with large sets of regulated data, designing efficient data structures, and database schemas, and working with distributed systems architecture and CosmosDB.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and Python, with a focus on building reusable frameworks.
  • 3+ years' experience with integration technologies and protocols such as SOAP, REST, JSON, and APIs, with experience in handling streaming data.
  • Experience with planning and implementing a data warehouse, data lake, or other data repositories.
  • Hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory, DataBricks, Azure Storage, SQL Pools, CI/CD Pipeline Design, and other Azure services.
Preferred Skills:
  • Azure Data Engineering certification.
  • Domain Driven Design experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with Data Privacy, Data Governance, and Data Cataloguing principles.
  • Machine Learning knowledge and experience with an LLM.
