Job Overview

Emmy Squared Pizza is seeking experienced servers to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Successfully adhere to our Steps of Service, ensuring a seamless and efficient dining experience.
  • Enter guest orders accurately into our POS system, Breadcrumb.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our menu and beverage offerings, making recommendations to guests as needed.
  • Personalize the guest experience by understanding their needs and preferences, offering suggestions and solutions to enhance their visit.
  • Communicate guest requests, including dietary restrictions, to our culinary staff, ensuring accurate preparation and presentation.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist in maintaining a positive and outgoing demeanor during service, promoting a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Adhere to company policy and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, supporting the success of our team.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of serving experience in a high-volume restaurant operation.
  • Prior related experience requiring excellent customer service, cash handling, service recovery, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing the needs of guests and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers throughout the restaurant, promoting a team-oriented environment.
  • Possess a passion for hospitality and a love of the food and beverage industry.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 lbs, requiring frequent bending, reaching overhead, and twisting.
