The Lead Internal Audit Specialist is essential in executing regular and special internal audits, concentrating on financial, operational, compliance, and information technology controls. By utilizing your expertise in public accounting or internal auditing, you will have the chance to refine your skills, potentially leading to new career opportunities within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Leverage expertise in various finance, operational, and compliance audits
- Oversee assignments to guarantee timely and high-quality execution
- Evaluate and enhance internal controls for financial accuracy
- Communicate audit requests and findings effectively
- Draft clear and concise audit reports
- Maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- CPA License is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting or internal auditing
- Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred
- Contribute to engagement planning and risk assessment
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
- Employ analytical thinking for effective problem resolution
- Encourage a positive team spirit and collaborative atmosphere
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
