About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Ineos Pigments USA. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for the procurement of capital expenditure and logistics spend, ensuring maximum value in sourcing and contracting of CAPEX material and services while managing risk and supporting project plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure capital expenditure and logistics spend, ensuring maximum value in sourcing and contracting of CAPEX material and services.
  • Manage risk and support project plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Negotiate and manage logistics services and contracts, including truck, rail, ocean, and other relevant modes of transportation.
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in procurement operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field, with MBA preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in CAPEX/Project and Logistics procurement in a large complex manufacturing environment, with contract negotiation and management experience desirable.
  • Professional PSCM qualification (MCIPS) or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and logistics industry and terminology.
  • Ability to interface with business management software (SAP).
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication, technical aptitude, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
