Critical Care Nurse Specialist

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit. This 30-bed unit offers a fast-paced environment that requires strong critical thinking abilities, organization, and prioritization.
Job OverviewThis role is ideal for resourceful, flexible, and team-oriented individuals who can thrive in a dynamic setting. As a Registered Nurse in our PCU, you will be responsible for collecting data, analyzing assessments, identifying expected outcomes, and implementing individualized care plans.
The ideal candidate will possess a graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing, with a BSN preferred. Current Basic Life Support certification and an active RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of residence are also required.
Responsibilities- Collects relevant healthcare consumer data to inform care decisions
- Analyzes assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues
- Identifies expected outcomes for individualized care plans
- Develops and implements strategies to attain expected outcomes
- Coordinates care delivery and promotes a safe environment
- Delegates tasks to appropriate healthcare workers
- Evaluates progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes
- Graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Active RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of residence
$83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
