Job Title: Baggage Service Representative

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Baggage Service Representative to join our team at Hallmark Aviation Services. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth handling of baggage for our airline partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of WorldTracer (W/T) to create, amend, and close AHL, DPR, and OHD files.
  • Perform daily proactive and reactive communication with passengers to resolve baggage issues.
  • Clear expedited and left-behind baggage through US Customs and arrange for local and FedEx deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of OHD baggage.
  • Register lost and found items in W/T, maintain documentation, and follow up with passengers.
  • Conduct daily sweeps of the bagroom and departure pier to identify and action left-behind or late-received interline baggage.
  • Send W/T forwarding messages for all bags being expedited from the port.
  • Respond promptly to emails, telexes, and phone calls from passengers and management.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Basic math skills for accurate calculations and record-keeping.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift, push, pull, and carry up to 70 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with passengers and management.
  • Proficiency in using computers and telephones for efficient communication and data entry.
